New Atlas, sorry John and Scott, same issues
Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Fla. (Feb. 17,
2012) – The launch of an Atlas V carrying the United States Navy’s
Mobile User Objective System-1 (MUOS-1) payload was scrubbed today due
to weather conditions associated with upper level winds and flight rules
associated with thick clouds. Due to lack of range availability and
also the forecast weather conditions for the next several days, the
Atlas V vehicle and MUOS will return to the Vertical Integration
Facility and will roll back out to the launch pad prior to launch. The
launch is rescheduled for no earlier than Wednesday, Feb. 22 from Space
Launch Complex-41 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Fla.
