NPP Launch is go

NPP is 'Go' for Oct. 28 Liftoff

NASA and contractor launch personnel met today at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California to verify the NPP spacecraft and its Delta II rocket are ready for liftoff in one week. The Flight Readiness Review is complete and NPP is "go" for launch Oct. 28. The launch team has been cleared to begin second-stage propellant loading activities on Monday.
